“The impact of life coaching sessions with Mandy has been both life giving and life changing. During every single session I feel heard and learn new things about myself. Mandy is an incredible coach because she is able to sieve through everything I say and find the actual topic I want to work on.”

“...By talking it through with Mandy and working through clear actions that we’d agree during our sessions, my approach to things changed. I started to think more positively and started to push my fears aside a little more.... working with Mandy has had a big impact on me and I can’t thank her enough.”

“...She helped me to not feel so overwhelmed and gave me the tools I needed to turn a long, overwhelming list into smaller and more manageable sections that I could handle. This really helped me to combat my anxiety, gave me my self esteem back and allowed me to feel more in control.”

About me
My Story
What led me to coaching?I spent a long time wondering what I really wanted to do with my life, and feeling increasingly dissatisfied with work. I had the chance to re-think after having my second child, and during this time, I had a growing thought in the back of my mind that I could be a life coach. I went on an introductory weekend for coaching and it clicked straight away – I knew that I wanted to help people make positive changes in their lives, and more importantly, I had the belief that I could do this. So after years of travelling into London for work and then transitioning to being a stay-at-home mum, I re-trained as a life coach with The Coaching Academy. My wellbeing journeyWhen I was younger, I don’t think wellbeing was even a term I knew, and looking after my health definitely wasn’t top of my priorities. As I grew older and especially after having children, I started to appreciate my health and my body more, and realised that if I wanted to live a long, healthy and happy life, I needed to make some changes. Amongst other things, I considered the types of exercise I was doing, I started meditating, got into yoga and became more interested in nutrition. As I continued down this route, I kept discovering more areas to become interested in, covering physical, spiritual and mental wellbeing, and my journey continues to this day. When the Covid pandemic began, my interest in wellbeing increased even more, and I knew that this was an important area in which to focus my coaching. Over the last few years, I have also been incorporating mindfulness into my wellbeing practice, and this is becoming a key area of my coaching, including using breath work and meditation during coaching sessions. My wellbeing toolkitAlongside an interest in nutrition and plant-based eating, my personal wellbeing toolkit includes regular exercise, yoga and meditation. I love spending time outdoors, especially in our garden and I incorporate simple breathing exercises into my day. I practice mindfulness and gratitude as much as I can, remembering that I am, and always will be, a work in progress. To help this, I read and study regularly around the areas of mindfulness, breath work, personal development and wellbeing. What is wellbeing? For me, wellbeing is about everything that we do to look after our whole selves; to look after our minds and our bodies. One area impacts another, so to achieve true wellbeing you need to find a balance in your life. It’s about taking a holistic view and working out where you would like to make changes to find more joy, to become healthier and to feel more grounded. It’s also about compassion – be kind to yourself - and about living, truly in each moment. My previous work experienceMy work life prior to coaching included various roles in digital and in project management. Although I felt that ultimately I was destined for something different, I found satisfaction in organising, managing and completing projects, and I believe my sense of calm whilst working and my strength in organising helps me now in my role as a coach. It doesn’t matter how overwhelmed you may feel in your life, I will help you to ground, to figure out what is important and to make practical steps to change your life for the better.
FAQs
What is coaching?
Coaching is about looking to the future and helping you to set and achieve goals to move you forwards and make positive change. It empowers you to take control of your life, to understand yourself better and to take practical, manageable steps to get you to where you want to be. With me by your side, we will go on a wellbeing journey, where you decide which routes to take and where you ultimately want to end up. Have a think, what does wellbeing mean to you and how would you like this to look in your life?
FAQs
Your Wellbeing Journey?
As your coach, I will help you to figure out which areas of your wellbeing you would like to work on, or where you feel out of balance. It’s important to take a holistic view, knowing one area impacts another. I will encourage you to take responsibility for making positive changes and to break these down into manageable steps to avoid overwhelm. I will raise your self-awareness, challenge you when appropriate, and help you to find your motivation to achieve whatever you desire.

FAQs
Couldn't I do this on my own?
Through 1 to 1 coaching with me, you will have an accountability partner. I will ask you, with agreement from yourself, challenging questions, and I will ask you questions that you might not ask yourself. I will feedback to you what I am hearing, seeing and feeling from our conversations, which can raise awareness of ideas, thoughts and beliefs that you might not become aware of on your own. Most importantly, I will be your wellbeing cheerleader!
FAQs
What doesn't happen in coaching?
I will never tell you what to do in your life or give you advice based on my own experience. I might suggest exercises that could be useful or things to think about in between sessions, but at the end of the day, your journey is your journey and no one else’s, and your power comes from within you. All the answers lie within. There will also never be any judgements from me. I will give you a safe space in which to be open and honest so that you can work on yourself and move forwards.
